Hill Country



Away from the Sun & the sand, one can explore the hill country with its blue green mountains, tea gardens and waterfalls. Nuwareliya is known as the “Little England” is home for the finest tea in the world. The 18 hole Golf Course is one of the most picturesque golf courts. Hakgala botanical garden overlooking the conch shell shaped mountain range and Sita Eliya are places of interest close by.


Home for beautiful flowers and beautiful scenaries, Bandarawela has a cool and comfortable climate. It is located on the western part of the Uva Province on the eastern slopes of central hills of Sri Lanka. 200 KM away from Colombo and reached by both train and bus.


Ella with the picturesque Rwana Ella Waterfall has a stunning landscape. Owing magnificent mountain walks, waterfalls and wild life, Ella has become popular destination for European travelers in the recent past.

Nature & the Wild Life


Located in the deep south between Kirinda and Hambatota, it features wetlands, lagoons, jungle and numerous species of wild life in a natural setting.

Gal Oya

National Park is home to the large reservoir. Herd of elephants can be seen throughout the year.

Horton Plains

Horton Plains is a popular tourist destination and is situated 8 KM from Ohiya and 32 Km from Nuwaraeliya. Situated in the shadows of the second highest mountain (Kirigalpotta -2395 m) in Sri Lanka, is a beautiful plateau over 2000m high providing excellent hikes. The plateau leads to a sudden end at Worls’s end, a stunning drop that plunges 800 m. The early morning from 6-10 am is the ideal time to visit as the world’s end is obscured by heavy mist most of the time.

Kaudulla National Park

Located 190 km away from Colombo in the Polonnaruwa district, can be reached 22 km north of the village Habarana. Home for herds of elephants up to 250 drawn to the tank in the park. The best time to visit is between August-Decembr.


Elephant orphanage is short drive from Kandy and home to almost 100 elephants.
